Frodsham Flower Shop goes back to it’s roots in Helsby where it all started over 50 years ago!

Originally Rondeg Nursery in Helsby, Frodsham Flower Shop was opened in Eddisbury Square in 1961. Recently the business arrived back in Helsby and proprietor Jan Hayes decided to name the business after her home Acer House.

Frodsham Flower Shop has always delivered to a vast area including Chester, Northwich, Elton, The Wirral and Warrington and so Acer Florist Cheshire was the perfect name choice.

The new premises has the advantage of a beautiful outdoor ‘room’ which is perfect for gorgeous house and garden plants to be displayed.

Over the years Jan has seen a huge increase in their bridal work and is delighted that they now offer a studio where brides can sit and browse photographs, design books and discuss the many options available.

Jan encourages brides to bring along a picture of their wedding dress and fabric samples so that certain details, crystals etc can be incorporated into the floral designs.

Acer Florist Cheshire hosts a Bridal Day on the final Thursday of each month when brides can call in between 9am and 7pm.

The studio also provides privacy when choosing funeral tributes or a chance to sit and enjoy a coffee and read the paper whilst the girls make up your bouquet or arrangement.
