The Italian restaurant is proving to be a great success. Some of the credit has to be given to the new staff, who as a team have completely revitalised Amoré making it better than ever before. Their hard work, commitment and professionalism together with their experience and Italian flair combine to provide a fast, efficient and friendly service. The chefs are rising to the new challenges and the clay oven is proving its worth as the pizzas have been improving daily! Cooked now to perfection in temperatures of 650 - 700º the pizza cooks from fresh dough in 3 minutes, producing a light, crisp crust. The change of design and layout has been a hit with diners enjoying Christmas parties during December. In particular the atmosphere of the open theatre kitchen, the more spacious restaurant and many people have commented on how much warmer and relaxed the new look feels. This is attributed to the rich gold carpet that now hides the timber floor which helps the acoustics and although the décor is modern and minimalistic the beautiful cream leather and cherry wood swivel chairs are extremely comfortable and allow you to turn to chat or view the kitchen and secret garden with ease. Amoré bar now attracts a slightly more mature clientele. In response to this you can now enjoy a pianist between 10pm and 12 on Thursday & Saturday evenings and if the mood takes you, sing along to songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. In the new year the bands on a Monday evening may be on a little earlier but with the same licensing times, offering flexibility for those who don’t want to stay late. A full review of the type of bands will result in a better mix including more soul bands, as recently there has perhaps been too many rock bands. It’s no surprise that bookings are already being taken for Valentine’s Day, given that Amoré stands for romantic love and you don’t get much more romantic than the Italians!
