Set Top Box Refuse to Tune to English Channels?Here is a solution from a Helsby Resident, DerekLike many others in the west part of Helsby after the recent digital TV retune, I could only get BBC Wales, HTV and S4C on programmes 1,2,3 & 4. This was very inconvenient - the English stations were somewhere in the 800 series! Since the BBC Wales stations are on Channel 46 and the ITV/S4C stations on Channel 55, I retuned the TV but left the aerial disconnected until the auto search had passed Channel 56. The English stations are on Channels in the 60's so they were found. I now have BBC 1 English on programme 1, BBC 2 on 2, Granada on 3 and Channel 4 on programmes 4. Much better!! Derek |
