Two Fat Blokes and Their Bikes Print E-mail

On 21st July, two residents of Meres Edge in Helsby, are cycling from London to Paris in order to raise money for Action Medical Research (a charity that helps prevent illness in babies and children in the UK.)

Paul Hindle is 36 and a school teacher at a Primary School in Widnes. His neighbour Paul Rogers is 40 and is a police officer based in Warrington.
For the event, they will be cycling 300 miles in 4 days and aim to raise £1200 each.
It is part of an organised charity event and they will be amongst approximately 600 other cyclists completing the trip.

Paul Rogers has been interested in cycling for a long time and regularly cycles to and from work in Warrington whereas Paul Hindle has never been a cycling enthusiast, but became recently "hooked" over the summer.
They both admit to being on the large side (16 stone plus) hence they are travelling by the name of "Two Fat Blokes and Their Bikes"!
