This year sees the shop celebrating the future of Les Harris Jewellers as daughter Niki and Son in law Andrew are taking over running the family Jewellers. After 44 years in Frodsham, Les and Carolyn are looking to retire, however they will still be on hand with their lifetime of experience but will leave the day to day running of the shop to Niki and Andy.
Growing up with a family all in the Jewellery trade it was an inevitable step for Niki. So after studying at University and an extensive 10 year sales background, she is thrilled to be taking over the family business. Andrew has left a career in the technical plastics sector and is embracing the new challenge of learning the trade and is eager to promote the business and ensure success continues for the next generations!
There are exciting times ahead for Les Harris Jewellers starting with the new Wedding Room Showroom which was officially opened at end of September by Frodsham Mayoress, Sara Wakefield. Niki explained that they wanted to free up more space in the front showroom and open up the back room to show off the beautiful sandstone wall of the 350 year old cottage. There are further changes on the way as Sue Queeding who has been with the shop for 35 years is also retiring next month. She is a great asset to business and will be greatly missed, hopefully still helping out at busy periods though!
