And a very warm welcome to the June edition.

Helsby Golf Club continue with their  ladies ‘get into golf’ campaign and are running a complimentary taster session on Sunday 21st June at 4pm. No experience or equipment needed, complete beginners are welcome to attend. Later this year they are running a charity mixed open, in aid of Breast Cancer. The event will take place on Wednesday 12th August and the cost is £100 for a team of 4. Entries will fill up quickly so booking early is advised. More details on both of the above can be found on pages 28-29. 

Treat Yourself Beauty are pleased to introduce a new facial to the salon. Inspired by nature using basic natural ingredients by a local supplier. This facial helps to work on mind and body. See their advert on page 20 for more details.

Helsby Players are back in action this month with 4 performances of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ scheduled throughout June. This year the shows will be performed at a combination of indoor and outdoor locations. Outdoors at Helsby Hillside and indoors at St Paul’s Church. Tickets are on sale for £5 per person and can be purchased online or in person at Thrifty’s or The Old Bank Tea Rooms. 

Frodsham Panto Group also return to the stage this month, with auditions for ‘Sleeping Beauty’ taking place over the next few weeks. If you would like to be part of the show this year, the dates for auditions and more information on how to register can be found on the community pages.
