Hello! And a big welcome to the December edition.
We are now heading into the Festive Season and for many of us that means parties in abundance!
I love fancy dress parties but they can prove to be a bit of a headache. Deciding on a theme and then having the time to sort out what to wear.... not to worry, head over to Gift’s ‘n’ Party’s advert on page 7 for fab outfit ideas and accessories, plus lot’s of gifts as well.
So what’s happening this month locally.... We have Ho Ho Helsby to look forward to on Saturday 7th December with a full program of entertainment, a great variety of stalls and festive parade at 6pm. It’s promising to be even bigger and better this year! The popular ‘Singalong at Christmas’ with Equinox is back at Frodsham Methodist Church on 23rd December and you’ll find lots of other concerts, artisan market, church services, choir details and lot’s more within the Community Pages and don’t forget your tickets for Frodsham Panto ‘Alice in Wonderland’ 5th - 11th January.
A variety of community-based projects have been awarded just over £63,000 in the latest round of awards since the Marshes Community Benefit Fund was established in 2016. Well done to all of the successful applicants.
Have a wonderful Christmas,
Best Wishes, Sarah x
